Welcome to Kobau Farms.... 

Nestled in the Southeast corner of Manitoba, along the US border is Kobau Farms. We are situated on over 600 acres of lush farmland near Lake of the Woods and are home to Quality Sport Horses.

Excellent bloodlines and determination are the Building blocks of our farm.

Our broodmare band is small, and we breed selectively to ensure that our resulting foals are of high quality.

Our Thoroughbred Bloodlines include Alydar, Bold Ruler, Man 'O'War, Hyperion, Native Dancer and Princequillo.

Paint Bloodlines of Air Force Blue, Joe Hancock, Top Deck, King and Joe Reed along with other excellent horses are the foundation lines of our paint breeding program.

Our Morgan bloodlines are foundation stock of high quality, working horses. Our mares can be traced back within 4 generations to horses such as Mentor, Quizkid, Upwey Ben Don, Fleetfield, Morspeed and Cornwallis. We also have show bloodlines through our Triton Ryan daughter and our Timberline Shadow daughter. Working Bloodlines are those of Ramuls Justin, a well known offspring of Bombo.
